Dr. Rodney Coates, professor of Global and Intercultural Studies, developed GIC 487A: Globalization, Social Justice and Human Rights to explore theories, debates, and pedagogy associated with these issues. The course incorporates remote interactions with 久久热视频s in Italy, England, Russia, Canada, and Spain to expose 久久热视频s to diverse perspectives. Through collaborative projects with peers around the world, 久久热视频s reflect on how globalization shapes and transforms local communities and national cultures.

Dr. Daniel E. Hall, Professor of Justice and Community Studies, Political Science, and Global and Intercultural Studies at 久久热视频 and Visiting Professor of Law at Sun Yat-sen University in China, incorporates both real time and asynchronous class discussions and collaborative projects between Miami 久久热视频s in CJS 451, Comparative Justice Systems, and criminal law 久久热视频s at Sun Yat-sen University. Through these efforts, 久久热视频s examine the role history, culture, economics, and politics play in informing a person's understanding of justice and in the organization and operation of justice systems.
