Cincinnati Public Schools and ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓÆµ's TEACh Cincinnati program, designed to address the teacher shortage and increase diversity among educators, is expanding. A recent study highlights the $700 billion needed nationwide to offset academic setbacks due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the TEACh program providing academic, social, and financial support for ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓÆµs pursuing teaching careers, aiming to fill the teacher shortage and enhance diversity in education. Teri’ana Joyner, a program graduate now at ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓÆµ, emphasizes the importance of having teachers who represent diverse backgrounds to inspire ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓÆµs and address the shortage of educators who look like her.
